Job description – ESVS Guidelines Steering Committee

 

The ESVS is looking for 3 new members to join its Guidelines Steering Committee from 1st May 2026.

The ESVS Guidelines Steering Committee oversees the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines and Consensus Statements on a wide range of vascular topics.

 

Who can apply:

Active European vascular surgeons (not retired from clinical practice) who are:

  • ESVS members
  • EJVES reviewers
  • Experienced in guidelines writing or review process

 

What is expected from you:

  • Proactively participate in the development strategy of guidelines documents
  • Review the guidelines being produced during your term in office
  • Attend monthly online steering committee meetings and two face to face meetings (one in spring and one at the ESVS annual meeting)
  • Work on a voluntary basis
  • Respect ESVS procedures, mission and values

  • Successful candidates will be shortlisted and invited to an interview at the beginning of April

Timelines:

Deadline to submit your application: 27.03.2026

Successful candidates will be contacted in April and will start their term on the 1st of May 2026 and for a duration of 3 years.
