Objective:Â This web-based course is designed for physicians with moderate to advanced experience in the endovascular treatment of juxtarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm with the Chimney technique (ChEVAR). It aims to provide a practical and structured approach to patient-selection, procedural steps and material needs to perform a standardised ChEVAR procedure. The small number of participants will allow for discussions between the faculty and attendees about this technique. After the event, participants will be able to:
Explain the role of ChEVAR in the treatment of AAA-patients with Hostile Neck anatomies
Classify patients best suitable for the ChEVAR technique
Identify specifics in the planning for a ChEVAR procedure
Describe needed material for performing a ChEVAR intervention
Discuss procedural steps for performing ChEVAR
Memorize and discuss current clinical outcomes for ChEVAR

Participant qualifications: The course is designed for a moderate to advanced level of knowledge.
Certification:Â CME accreditation is not being sought for this course.
Registration and cancellation terms ESVS members & non-members – Free. A deposit of EUR 60 is required to limit non-attendance and will be returned on course completion. Tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis. For cancellations received more than 10 days before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR. For cancellations received 5 or less days before the event, no refund is possible.
Please be aware that the online session will be recorded and may be used by the ESVS on our website, social media and in the e-library. An edited version will also be made available to event partners, on request. By participating in the course, you consent to the publication of such materials and their use, by the ESVS and partners present in the session.
