Objective
Vascular access maintenance often requires the use of stents and stent graft. These can be used in different scenario such as cephalic arch stenosis, recurrent stenosis, exclusion of aneurysms and pseudo aneurysms, repair of pta induced vascular rupture. Stents should be used carefully in order not to jeopardize future secondary fistula creation.
The course is designed to give the participants wider knowledge useful in their daily practice. The course will highland the indications for stent and stent graft placement in vascular access. The eligible cases will be presented, and designed treatment indicated.
By attending this course, participants will know the indications for stent and stent graft placement and be able to decide if they are the most appropriate for given patient. A thought that there is no unique and perfect treatment modality for each patient will be presented and highlighted.
Participants’ qualifications
The course is open to vascular surgeons and vascular surgeons in training who are performing vascular access surgery. An intermediate level of knowledge of vascular access is expected.
Registration fee & cancellation policy
€ 25 for ESVS members and € 30 for non-members. Please note that the course is dependent on final registration numbers. Where registration numbers are too low to run the course, this will be announced on the website no later than 48 hours before the course starts. For cancellations received by participants more than 10 days before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee. For cancellations received less than 10 days before the event, no refund is possible..
CME accreditation is being requested for this session. Participants are aware that the online session will be recorded and may be used by the ESVS on our website and e-library.
