Participants will learn about the pathology of abdominal aorta, important features of abdominal and thoracic aorta (with side branches that determine feasibility of EVAR/TEVAR or require more complex endovascular procedures) and diagnosis (intact AAA or ruptured AAA, with presence of aorto-cava fistula, aorto-enteric fistula). For the thoracic aorta pathologies, focus will be on aneurysm, but also the PAU (penetrating aortic ulcus) and type B aortic dissection.  All the features as well as hemodynamic instability with arterial hypotension at the moment of CTA, influence the sizing and planning. All steps of the sizing and planning (necessity of CTA, arterial access, proximal, distal landing zone…) will be discussed, as well as their importance and role in the process and the consequences of any mistakes that may have occurred.
