European Research Hub (ERH)

Developing clinical vascular disease research, together.

Pushing Research Forward

The European Research Hub (ERH) was established in 2022 to increase participation in high quality clinical research in vascular disease throughout Europe and internationally.

Today, ERH serves as the ESVS platform for collaborative research, bringing together clinicians, researchers, partners, and other ESVS committees to facilitate research initiatives, encourage collaboration, and promote the sharing of knowledge and expertise in vascular disease

Its activities include supporting collaborative studies, registries, and innovation projects, while encouraging best practice in research governance, collaboration, and evidence generation. Through its activities, ERH aims to strengthen research capacity across Europe and contribute to advances in vascular care.

How to Join?

Collaboration Request

If you are interested in collaborating with the ERH on a specific project, please download and complete the collaboration form.

Once filled, please send it via email to info@esvs.org.

Participate in the Research Registry

The ERH is involved in several projects, liaising with industry partners and other interested parties. If your centre wants to get involved, please fill in the form.

Your data will be saved in the ERH-Registry of Research Centres, managed by the ESVS. It will only be accessible for members of the ERH, members of the ESVS Executive Committee, and the administrative office of the ESVS.

Surveys

We’re gathering insights to better understand the challenges and opportunities in clinical research.

Investigating practice patterns in symptomatic non-ruptured Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA) in Europe

You are invited to take part in a short survey regarding the definition, diagnostic pathways, preoperative optimisation, and treatment practice of patients with symptomatic non-ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) in Europe.

If your department performs elective and emergency AAA surgery, you are kindly invited to share your current standard practice for these patients. Optionally, you can further validate the information you have supplied in a second retrospective observational analysis by providing details of the last 5 patients treated for symptomatic non-ruptured AAA in your clinic. If you are interested, please enter your email address at the end of the survey.

Participants will be mentioned in the acknowledgements section(s) of all published results and outputs (if you consent). The survey data and your information will be stored securely and not shared externally. For more information on authorship, please contact info@esvs.org.
