Objective: The most important steps for endovascular treatment of aorto-iliac aneurysmal disease are the sizing and planning of the procedure as well the knowledge of current devices in order to achieve the best clinical outcome. Most importantly the participant will learn how to size and plan EVAR cases, both simple and challenging ones. The participants will have hands-on practice in sizing and planning of many cases, with the use of a software platform and hands-on practise on simulators and various devices. The participants will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge on planning and sizing and grafts selection as well as training on endografts deployment in various AAA’s morphology.

Target audience: Young vascular surgeons and senior residents interested in endovascular treatment of aorto-iliac aneurismal disease. Prior experience in EVAR is expected.
Accreditation: CME and Medtech accreditation is being sought for this event.
Registration and Cancellation policy: € 900 for ESVS members and €1200 for non-members. The fee/registration includes lunch and a networking dinner. The fee/registration does not include flights, transport to and from airport, accommodation and additional meals. The final decision of whether the course will be conducted is announced on the website no later than one calendar month before the course starts. Travel and accommodation must therefore not be booked until this message is given – ESVS is not financially responsible if the event has to be cancelled due to low numbers, in this timeframe. For cancellations received by participants more than 30 days before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR. For cancellations received less than 30 days before the event, no refund is possible.
