Description: This interactive workshop is designed to provide participants with a structured and comprehensive understanding of both standard and complex carotid endarterectomy (CEA). The session integrates technical skill development with critical non-technical competencies essential for safe and effective clinical practice.

- Endarterectomy and Patch Angioplasty Techniques
- Step-by-step approach to plaque removal.
- Principles of arteriotomy closure and patch selection.
- Techniques to optimize hemostasis and reduce perioperative complications

This workshop aims to provide a balanced, competency-based educational experience that strengthens both operative technique and clinical judgment in carotid endarterectomy.

Registration fee & cancellation policy: The registration fee is € 300 for ESVS members and € 380 for non-members, in addition to the Congress fee paid via their registration platform. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are registered for the Congress separately. The workshop fee includes a coffee break. Please note that the course is dependent on final registration numbers. The final decision of whether the course will be conducted is announced on the website no later than one calendar month before the course starts and all registrants will be contacted as well. Travel and accommodation must therefore not be booked until this message is given – ESVS is not financially responsible if the event has to be cancelled due to low numbers, in this timeframe. For cancellations received by participants more than one calendar month before the event, a refund will be given less an administration fee of 10 EUR. For cancellations received after this, no refund is possible. The ESVS has no influence on the PVC registration cancellation policy, should the workshop be cancelled.
