The Academy Pathways offer provides a multitude of hands-on, face-to-face and online educational events focusing on the above topics. The stand-alone modules can be taken individually, or as a tailored programme by Aortic Fellows. ESVS members  benefit from tickets up to 25% cheaper than non-members. Discover our workshops designed for you and lead by experts! They take place throughout the year and during the ESVS Annual Meeting.

This Pathway will offer online and hands-on courses and workshops focusing on the latest treatment of peripheral arterial diseases. We provide in-depth discussions on medical, open and endovascular treatment for peripheral arterial diseases with our experts and key opinion leaders running the workshops. They cover variously, and at all levels from basic to advanced, treatment algorithms, material knowledge and tips and tricks to make sure you are updated in the treatment of peripheral arterial diseases. The aim of this pathway is to improve your understanding of imaging assessment and other diagnostic tools. On the Diagnostic Pathway you can sign-up for on-site vascular ultrasound courses in Barcelona, Belgrade, Copenhagen and Larissa currently. These are hands-on courses where you can have the opportunity to see real pathology and train on real patients!

The Professional Development & Academic Pathway for 2025 is brought to you by The Academy of the ESVS. This pathway has evolved to keep pace with the demands of Vascular Surgeons and Vascular Surgical Trainees across Europe and beyond. The online and face-to-face workshops are delivered by an enthusiastic and highly skilled faculty from Austria, Finland, The Netherlands, Spain and the UK. Whether you are looking for ways to maximise your chances of passing professional vascular surgical exams, looking for ways to enhance your curriculum vitae through publication or looking to make yourself a better and safer surgeon through understanding non-technical skills and human factors, this pathway has something for you.
