The Carotid Group aims to promote research activities in patients with carotid artery disease to establish the best medical therapy, the need for a carotid intervention, and the modification of risk factors that could lead to a better quality of life.
• To organise registry-based data collections and analyses through international collaboration networks to define outcomes in the invasive and best medical treatment of patients with carotid artery disease
• To improve the treatment standards of carotid patients
• To maintain and improve the international collaboration networks for quality improvement registries on carotid artery disease
