The sessions are designed to: \nProvide more advanced training to experienced surgeons\nProvide a rare opportunity to interact with THE experts in a field\nReceive advice on personal cases\nBe informal spaces\nBe exclusive for members\n________________________________________________________________________________ \nThis Venous KOL Forum. the eighth in the series\, will host Marta Ramirez-Ortega and Alexandra Jaworucka-Kaczorowska. for this purpose. \n  \n \n  \nMarta Ramirez-Ortega: International Centre of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery\, Madrid\, Spain \nMarta Ramirez Ortega\, MD\, PhD\, is Chief of Centro Internacional de Cirugia Vascular y Endovascular at Viamed Santa Elena and Fuensanta University Hospitals in Madrid. She obtained her medical degree at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid\, trained in Vascular Surgery at Hospital Gregorio Marañón\, and earned her PhD (“cum laude”) at CEU San Pablo University. \nSince 2011 her clinical and research work has centred on deep and pelvic venous disease\, with a particular focus on pelvic vein embolisation\, ovarian and pelvic vein reflux\, and deep venous stenting. She is involved in EVeR (European Venous Registry) and the EVIDENCE platform\, a regular faculty member and workshop co-convenor at ESVS Annual Meetings\, and a proctor for several endovenous devices and procedures. She is also an Associate Professor at CEU San Pablo University and  member of the EVF\, ESVS and ISWVS. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n \n  \nAlexandra Jaworucka-Kaczorowska: Centre of Phlebology and Aesthetic Medicine\, Centre of Surgery\, Gynaecology and Obstetrics\, Poland. \nAleksandra Jaworucka-Kaczorowska\, MD\, PhD\, is the Founder and Director of Expert Clinic in Gorzów Wielkopolski\, Poland. She also works at the Centre of Phlebology and Aesthetic Medicine and the Centre of General and Vascular Surgery\, Gynaecology and Obstetrics “Jaworuccy” in Gorzów Wielkopolski. \nShe graduated from Poznań University of Medical Sciences in 2004 and obtained her PhD in medical sciences in 2010. She became a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2012 and a specialist in general surgery in 2017. In 2019\, she completed postgraduate training at the Postgraduate School of Aesthetic Medicine in Warsaw. \nHer clinical and scientific work focuses on venous disease\, particularly superficial vein treatment\, pelvic venous disorders\, and aesthetic phlebology. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Polish Society of Phlebology and a member of several national and international scientific societies. The workshop consists of interactive discussion\, working through defined areas of statistical analysis\, led by well-respected vascular surgical colleagues who will allow plenty of time for questions and answers. On completion of these workshops attendees will have a clear understanding of statistics and statistical analysis as commonly appears in scientific publications. Attendees will enhance their ability to critically appraise published literature and understand when published evidence should influence their practice (and when it shouldn’t). Attendees will increase their knowledge of how and when to perform statistical analyses and where to go for help with this. They will certainly understand the general principles of the standard and level of knowledge needed to pass the FEBVS exam. \n  \nTarget audience: The workshop is aimed at any clinician who sees vascular patients but is a must for trainees sitting professional exams (e.g. FEBVS). \n  \nRegistration and Cancellation policy: € 25 for ESVS members and € 30 for non-members. Are you interested in knowing how different surgeons in different countries approach more complex cases? The aim of this online workshop is to give participants an overview of more complex vascular access case scenarios\, including complications\, by discussing real life clinical situations with difficult diagnosis\, management or decision making. The participants will have the opportunity to listen to multiple case discussions presented by leading vascular surgeons in the field of vascular access from all over Europe. This workshop is a unique opportunity for vascular surgeons\, both in training and experience\, to perform different approaches under the supervision of a vascular and endovascular master tutor. At the end of the workshop\, participants will be able to fill the gaps in their understanding and performance of multiple approaches to the aorta and aortic branches. In addition\, the use of the latest-generation C-arms and translucency tables in the cadaver training facilities\, as well as the availability of different endografts dedicated to the arch\, the thoracoabdominal segment\, and infrarenal aorta\, allow realistic interaction between the stent graft and the aortic/arterial wall. After the real-scenario experience\, the technical results will be personally evaluated by the operator through surgical cut-down and arterial exposure. \n  \nEach course participant will have the opportunity to select 4 to 6 procedures for hands-on practice\, tailored to their individual learning goals and skill levels.
