It’s with great pleasure that we can announce an exciting opportunity for a new member to join the ESVS Programme Committee, who would join the committee as from 1st October 2024 for a term of 3 years. Applications are open until 23:59 CET May 15th 

The ESVS is opening applications for the position of ESVS President (2026-2027), who would come into office as Deputy President Elect in September 2024. Applications are open until 23:59 CET June 1st.  

The European Society for Vascular Surgery is looking for a motivated member to become the next Senior Editor (SE) of the EJVES from October 2025, for a 3 year term. The expected continuation is that the Senior Editor then becomes the EJVES Editor in Chief (EiC) for another 3 year term, which will finish in September 2031. The deadline to submit your application is 15.05.2024

The ESVS is commissioning a Clinical Practice Guideline for major lower limb amputation, encompassing the management of patients from the pre-operative work up phase through to early post-operative/prosthetic phase. We are looking for individuals who have experience in evidence-based medicine, and have the time and enthusiasm to commit towards this important project. The deadline for applications is 12.05.2024.

The ESVS Guidelines Steering Committee is planning to start the writing process for new clinical practice guidelines on Acute Limb Ischaemia and is seeking an EVST representative to join the writing committee. The deadline to submit your application is 06.05.2024

The Academy Committee is opening applications for a brand new position in the Committee – an Aortic Fellowship Lead. This is in the context of a new Aortic Fellowship Programme, currently in development and due to start in September 2024. Applications are open until midday 30th April 2024 with a start date of early June 2024.  

The Academy is opening applications for 10 Technical Assistants for the Annual Meeting workshop programme. Applications are ongoing and open until midday August 1st.  

The ESVS Academy is seeking candidates for the role of Academy Junior Moderators. There is no fixed deadline to apply for this role.
