Ine Rochus, MD, Zuyderland Medical Centre Objective: This workshop is designed for healthcare professionals who already have initial experience in Below-The-Knee interventions for Perripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and are aiming to elevate their experience. The focus will be on advanced technologies employed in Below-The-Knee interventions, encompassing the use of guidewires, balloons, atherectomy devices, microstents, the retrograde approach, Optical Coherence Tomography, and Fractional Flow Reserve in BTK interventions. The comprehensive agenda extends to patient assessment, facilitating the selection of appropriate interventions, and emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals engaged in below-the-knee interventions. Strategies for managing complications during and post-procedures will be discussed. Hands-on training using wet models will be provided for mastering endovascular techniques.
