EVST invites you to the special Aortic Online Competition on 5th June 2023 Participation in this competition is limited to EVST members, but all who wish to watch are invited to join. With fewer open surgeries performed annually, the number of trainees and junior surgeons with adequate experience will decline in the future. Due to the fact that open surgery is a more durable solution, younger generations of vascular surgeons should be trained in both standard and complex open aortic surgery, and the idea of this competition is to promote this important aspect of education for every vascular surgeon.
