PAD Pathways : Optimising Medical Treatment for patients with PAD

15 February @ 18:00 - 19:30

The PAD Academy Pathway continues …

15th February (18:00-19:30)

Join Sebastian Debus, Rupert Bauersachs and Vincent Jongkind

After securing blood flow to the foot in a patient with critical limb ischemia, how do you best preserve your precious revascularization? Or how do you support your invasive treatment in acute limb ischemia? And what about COVID-19 associated limb ischemia?

Patients with peripheral arterial disease PAD are at high risk for the development of life-threatening major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and major adverse limb events (MALE). Patients with PAD have a poor prognosis with a higher reported 5-year mortality rate than patients with breast cancer or Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

In a live online interactive patient case-based discussion the evidence from the latest trials and recent guidelines for the management of patients with PAD will be put into perspective. Focus will lie on clinical decision-making for the treatment of patients with PAD. Participants are cordially invited to send in their cases or questions beforehand to discuss during the seminar. Expert faculty and participants will share their experiences and provide practical considerations for best practice in your own hospital and practice.

Registration is OPEN.
