ESVS Ukraine Support Fund
Many members and friends of the ESVS have been involved in ongoing projects to collect and ship equipment to medical institutions all over Ukraine that are in desperate need of supplies in order to treat the growing number of patients.
Since the first shipment in April 2022, the following essential equipment (to the value of 500,000€) has been delivered to colleagues in need:
- Medicine (donation from the Finnish Ministry of the Interior)
- C-arm (donation from Uppsala University)
- 100 Propathen prothesis (donation from Gore)
- 450 Fogarty catheters
- 340 headlights
- Single use material e.g. 16,000 operation gowns, 1,600 gloves
- Venous cannulas (donation from BD Bard)
- Prolene
- 30 emergency packs (various essential first aid materials)
