We are pleased to share that the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (EJVES) has achieved a 2024 Journal Impact Factor of 6.8, up from 5.7 in 2023. This marks the ninth consecutive year that EJVES is the highest-ranked journal in the field of vascular surgery.
Our ranking has also improved significantly — from #13 of 291 surgical journals in 2023 to #9 of 315 in 2024.
While several journals in our field have faced declines in their metrics this year, we recognise the shared challenges and evolving landscape of academic publishing. We commend all our colleagues and fellow journals for their continued contributions to vascular research.
