Ultrasound exams offer the vascular surgeons a possibility to get an accurate and rapid diagnosis of patients with arterial and venous diseases. However, this powerful diagnostic tool is not yet in the hands of vascular surgeons in many European countries. This highly successful course will cover the scientific, technical and practical aspects of some of the most common vascular ultrasound examinations.
The course is designed for vascular surgeons, vascular surgeons in training and vascular nurses and technologists. No prior ultrasound experience is required, but basic knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology is expected.
