Dear ESVS Annual Meeting participants,
You may have been following the news of the severe flooding in Central and Eastern Europe in recent days. First and foremost, the ESVS and congress organisers express heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by this devasting event. For those planning to join the ESVS Annual Meeting next week, we inform you that the situation is being closely monitored and we are regularly communicating with our colleagues onsite to ensure the event runs smoothly. There is no cause for concern regarding the event organisation itself, and we will be welcoming all participants as planned. We endeavour to inform all registered participants if this status changes.
The non-governmental organisation Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is providing assistance and support to those affected by the flooding, please join ESVS in donating if you are able to do so, via this link. ESVS, through its subsidiary company, will donate €2 per Annual Meeting participant.
